accessibility.

last updated · 17 October 2026

We want everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement covers www.mattermake.com.

Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not yet been audited independently, so we don’t claim full conformance.

What we have done

  • Every page declares its language, and has a “skip to content” link at the top.
  • Each page has one main heading and a clear heading order.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Everything can be reached with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • When your device asks for reduced motion, fades and transitions are switched off, and the photo slideshows at the top of pages stay still.
  • Every slideshow has a pause button. It also pauses while you point at it or move focus into it.
  • The contact form has a label on every field, says what went wrong next to the field, and works without JavaScript.

What still needs work

  • The lab instruments (Gamut, D’Arcy and Malta Metabolism) and the Rejig configurator are separate tools shown inside these pages. They may not yet work fully with screen readers or keyboards.
  • Drawings and diagrams, such as the Cinema Visiona general arrangement, are images; their labels aren’t available as text yet.

Visiting the factory

If you need anything arranged for a visit to the factory, tell us when you book and we’ll plan around it.

Tell us

If something on this site doesn’t work for you, or you need information in another format, please get in touch. We read everything, and reply within a couple of days.
