This website belongs to Matter Make (Dfab Studio Ltd), a design and fabrication studio in Malta. By using it, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short.

using the site

Use it for anything lawful. Please don’t try to break it, overload it, or get into parts of it that aren’t meant to be public.

what’s on it

• The text, photographs, drawings, renders, videos and software on this site belong to us or to the people we credit, and copyright protects them. You’re welcome to share links. Please ask before reusing anything else.
• The student projects on the teaching page belong to the students named with them.
• Pictures marked as renders show designs, not things that have been built.
• Figures on the site, including those in Malta Metabolism and the Made to Grow studies, come from the sources named with them, and are marked when they’re modelled or estimated. They’re there to help you understand and compare, not for certified design or investment decisions.

enquiries, prices and quotes

Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, and there are no prices online. When you get in touch, we reply with a proposal or a quote. Any work we do together is covered by that agreement, not by this page.

the free tools

Gamut, D’Arcy, Rejig and Malta Metabolism are offered free, as they are. We work to keep them accurate and running, but we can’t promise they’ll always be available or free of mistakes. A layout made in Rejig is a starting point, not an order: we check every wall before we make it.

We link to other websites because we think they’re useful. We’re not responsible for what’s on them.

liability

We take care to keep this site accurate, but we can’t guarantee that everything on it is complete or up to date. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss that comes from relying on it. Nothing here takes away rights that the law doesn’t let us limit.
