the project
One of two guest bedrooms we made for the same house in Madliena, with DeMicoli & Associates as architects.
The headboard is walnut, with a maple inlay and a planter built in behind it. The wall that curves round to the window is lacquered a deep green, and a long desk runs along it, facing the view. We didn’t make the bed or the wardrobe. We made the pieces that hold the room together.
Drawn in the summer of 2020 and made that autumn. The other room is sea views 2. The same house has the first Cinema Visiona in its basement, and a flip-dot window in the kitchen.
