the project
Manouche makes its chocolate and cakes by hand, so the window that shows them off needed a backdrop made with the same kind of care.
We milled solid American walnut panels on the CNC, on a marine ply backing, then carved, sanded and varnished them until they looked like melted chocolate. The first test cut was in October 2017. The wall went in at the end of July 2018.
It’s part of the Manouche bakery and bistro we designed and made in Spinola Park.
