A four-metre TV wall in a Mellieħa apartment: wood-grain cabinets above, black Valchromat below with CNC-cut leaf-pattern doors, and a line of engraved brushed-gold trim.

the project
The interior designers, Solid Eye, drew the room. We worked out how to make the wall, and made it.
It’s just under four metres long and holds a 75-inch TV. The top half is a wood-grain finish. The bottom half is black Valchromat, with doors CNC-cut in a leaf pattern that lets the light through. A strip of brushed-gold Alucobond, engraved on the same machine, runs between them. Behind the doors: push-to-open drop-downs, hinged doors, drawers and a pull-up.
We also made two storage beds for the same apartment, in birch ply and Valchromat. 2019.
