the project
We laser-scanned the room first, so the wall could be drawn to the room as it is, not as the plans say it is.
The library is six boxes: five shallow ones for books, and a deeper base for everything that isn’t a book. White melamine edged in solid timber, with brass knobs. The ladder is solid iroko, cut and engraved on our CNC, and it rolls along a black rail from the Library Ladder Company.
A small job, done with a lot of care, and finished in June 2020.
