Conceptually, the focus of this project was split into 2 main tasks.

We wanted to create a signature element that would elevate the space into a specific user experience, together with a matching family of freestanding components such as the cashier desk and product islands and also create product displays that tie all the different brand displays into a uniform language.

The central element of the shop is the tree structure that was generated with a 3D model and cut with the help of our robotic arm. 

The S-shaped element close to the entrance houses the cashier desk and storage as well as a floating sample bar, where customers are encouraged to try perfumes and products.

The other task was the challenge of creating a uniform design along all walls that houses the different brand stands and displays in combination with cabinetry for perfumes. We created ‘ribbons’ that run along the walls at set heights, that tie all elements together. On the top shelving and plants were allocated, followed by a band of brand logos, with shelving and storage cabinets or plinths in the lower part to create a continuous height.

Materials in shelves and cabinets were kept neutral to not deviate attention from the actual products. The wall ribbons were visually linked with the wooden family of elements through vertical fins between product sections.
